Bayer strengthens regenerative farming partnership with ADM

International giants Bayer and ADM are extending their regenerative farming initiative partnership.

The new partnership follows a trial last year in Poland into the adoption of regenerative farming practices at oilseed rape farms. The trial led to significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

The US food processing giant and German pharma firm are now extending the initiative as they look to increase the adoption of regenerative agricultural practices among farmers in Europe, cut carbon emissions and improve biodiversity and soil health.

The partnership will now expand to include a wider range of crops, including corn, wheat and barley and geographically across Eastern Europe.

The companies will provide farmers with financial help and technical advice.
