Amazon Fashion teams up with pre-loved platform Hardly Ever Worn It

Amazon’s fashion arm has teamed up with pre-loved platform Hardly Ever Worn It in a bid to keep luxury fashion items in circulation for longer.

The partnership will see Hardly Ever Worn It have a digital storefront on Amazon’s Luxury Stores website across the UK, Germany, Spain and Italy.

The ecommerce giant launched its Luxury Stores platform in 2020 on its mobile app to try and establish its position in the luxury fashion market.

Amazon Fashion Europe vice president Ruth Diaz said: “We’re always looking to innovate and engage with our diverse customers, and launching pre-owned goods allows us to do just that, while also creating an opportunity for us to offer our customers accessible luxury.”

Customers will be able to purchase second-hand designer items across women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, jewellery and watches from luxury brands.

Each item goes through pre-screening processes designed by Hardly Ever Worn It, ensuring the quality of each item.

Hardly Ever Worn It chief executive Tatiana Wolter Ferguson said: “Our collaboration with Amazon is a testament to our commitment to making high-end circular fashion accessible to a diverse and wide-reaching audience.

“By joining one of the world’s most trusted marketplaces, we are able to bring this to fruition, enabling more people to experience the joy of resale.”
