CEOs call for ‘dramatic action’ to cut emissions by 7% annually to 2030

A new report from Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) calls for “dramatic action” to cut emissions by 7% every year to 2030 to meet the Paris Climate Agreement goals.

The call from the CEOS comes as governments prepare for Cop28 later this month.

The report urges governments and businesses to implement shorter-term net-zero national and corporate commitments, faster deployment and funding of green technologies, and stronger global collaboration to ensure a just transition.
